I’m a Scottish lassie, married for over 25 years to a sweet American guy. Together we have raised three dual-nationality, amazing kiddos, now all adulting in their own unique way! Everywhere is home and nowhere is home! I love digital design and crafting, traveling, and introverting at home. I have a passion for notebooks and lists but rarely write on the lines and blogging helps me untangle my untamed thoughts! Rustic things fascinate me, from old lanterns to license plates, mason jars, and maps. Drinking hot British tea comforts me, and collecting mugs from all the places I’ve lived is one of life’s little pleasures. Being outside in nature with my camera is one of my favorite pastimes and if I could be anywhere, it would be on the beach in Salalah, Oman watching camels drink from the Indian Ocean!

WHAT IS TIN ROOF FAITH?

For a girl who said she would never leave Scotland, life as a Pastor’s Kid, Missionary kid, and Third Culture Kid has taken me on unexpected journeys, allowing me to experience home on five continents, nine countries, twenty-nine houses, and three U.S States! Home is everywhere and nowhere! The connection between faith and creativity was shaped in three Tin Roof Houses.

My Gran’s brick house in Scotland gave me that nostalgic feeling of home when all my other homes were moving. A wooden slatted house in the Amazon region of Brazil was where my faith journey began and the passion to live a life that helps others was born. And now in my little cement home in East Africa is the place where faith and creativity meet. Under my tin roof (when the power is on!) I design my digital files, blog, and craft.
